I ordered the Juanita styling lotion in order to be able to make the spray. Im looking forward to trying it out. And for the smell, I have a confession to make. I sometimes just open the jar of my Lockd Down Butter in order to smell it. Other times Ill take a little to lightly twist some of the frizzies and then I also use the Queen No Frizzies which is unscented but by using the top of that jar to mix it and my Lockd Down Butter together, I get the smell in there too! --John, Tennessee

No one in Nashville is using Naani in their salon and I am proud to be the first! It feels good to be competitive and offer services and quality products no one else does! I’ve noticed how drying my clients’ hair was when they return to the shop after I used the other line [Atlanta Based Companys], but again there is no telling what their regimen is at home. The word I have for how my locs look now after my first use of Naani products is Spectacular. I used the Juanita System. I ve tried many and I mean many other lines of supposed natural haircare products so Im pretty jaded when it comes to them. Ive learned not to expect too much.. Naani is everything I ever hoped for! My locs are thick so its kinda tough getting it to stay twisted at the root.. with the Juanita design creme.I wont be having that problem anymore. My locs are in place, neat and maintained. I have lots of body and sheen also from the loc down butter which I used in a mixture with the design cr me.. My hair looks and smells like I just came from the salon. I used to use a Dr. Bonners castille soap on my hair and although I liked it, my dreads were kinda dull. I thought I was doing something wrong. I got MAD info from your site so I bought the COOKIE castile and conditioner and I tried some of your other suggestions too. Im already an unofficial spokesperson for Naani Naturals.....LOL. All kidding aside, my locs were reborn after following the recommendations obtained in our telephonic consultation. The product variety (Castilles, Non-Sulfates, Numerous Scents) provides the means for product rotation (although Im hooked on Jamal). Im going through the DTs waiting for the Yam Cream... :-). If I had a nickle for the number of times Ive recommended naani products or gave out the site address, I would have a nice piece of change. Ive used different wax/products on my new dreads, but this is the best product I have found on the market. It is great. Better than all the other products that are on the market - Natty Dread, Lets Dread, DreadHead, and all the different beeswax - It make the dreads soft and strong enough to hold the dreads in place with a nice aroma smell. I...made my own spray. Specifically, I put about 3 ounces of the Juanita creme and a spoon full of lock butter. I put it in a blender with a cup of warm distilled water and mixed it up really well... and presto! I put it in an empty braid spray squirt bottle and that was it. I chose the Juanita design creme because it does an excellent job of moisturizing my hair. Been using it for two weeks and its great.... and, for someone like me who is low maintenance, its quick and easy versus applying the product by hand. I just spray it on, run my fingers through my hair a few times to distribute it, wash my hands and im done. Great for day to day maintenance and keeps my hair healthy. --jOjo, Tennessee
